Spaceline concept . . .

To build narrative storylines (movies, novels, theater pieces...) usually we place the story elements into a so called "timeline": one piece after one other will create a linear story.
With our webapp, you can now place your story elements on a given territory, on a "spaceline" ! Your documents in space ? Yes, but time is not far away: the necessary timeline to assemble a story will be built through the recorded path of a visitor...

Mobile creation . . .

In the today's world, more and more people are creating content: the boundaries between content producers, authors and spectators are shifting and vanishing increasingly. Anyone can record virtually anything (a path, a picture, heartbeats), make those recordings public and thus contribute with some content to the collective cultural heritage.
So the question would be: how would it be possible to use the tool we have in our pocket (the smartphone) to create not only content, but also to be able to decide how this content could be used in the dynamically changing world of today ?

Editing engine . . .

Editing is basically filtering content out of a database: you assemble a chosen content in a specific way with particular rules to tell a story, to deliver information. If we look only at the formal aspect, the important thing is to use a filtering logic that is easily understandable by the user / spectator.
Our hypothesis is: if the user creates the filtering logic he will understand and accept the combination of documents he / she will get; but this creation has to be very simple, intuitive and playful.
So we thought to translate the form of a path into the form of an editing logic: the way you walk will be translated in real time into the form of the document stream you get out of the geo-localized database…
